Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how [Legal entity name to be inserted] (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use Dawn and dawnheals.gg. Contact: hello@dawnheals.gg.
1. Who is responsible
We are the controller for personal data described here. Full legal name, registered address, and any Data Protection Officer details will be listed here when finalised. We are not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment.
2. Data we collect
- Account and billing: email, licence or subscription identifiers, payment status, and limited billing metadata from our payment providers (card or Bitcoin). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Device licensing: a machine identifier you or the app provide for licence checks (see future verify API).
- Support: messages you send to hello@dawnheals.gg.
- Site analytics (if enabled later): coarse usage metrics; we will update this policy before enabling non-essential cookies or trackers.
Dawn’s desktop client uses pixel detection on your screen locally. Screen contents are processed on your device for the product’s function; we do not ask you to upload gameplay footage as a condition of use.
3. Why we process data (UK GDPR)
- Contract: create and manage your trial or subscription, deliver the Service, and authenticate licences.
- Legitimate interests: secure the Service, prevent abuse, and improve reliability, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation: tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests.
- Consent: where we rely on consent (for example optional marketing), you may withdraw it at any time.
4. Sharing
We may share data with payment processors (card and Bitcoin/MoR or similar), hosting and email providers, and professional advisers, only as needed to run Dawn. We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
If processors are outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations where available.
6. Retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your subscription is active and then for a period needed for disputes, accounting, and legal requirements (typically up to six years for financial records in the UK). Support emails are kept as long as useful to resolve your request.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and port data, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Contact us first at hello@dawnheals.gg so we can help.
8. Children
Dawn is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site or by email where appropriate.
